Hello again beauties!
Thanks for joining me again today for day four of a five part series on local coffee and roasting companies in the Pierce County, Washington area. I have been on a mission recently to find independent coffee shops to help support the small businesses in the area.
Check out day three here. I am hoping you will find inspiration to start looking for hidden gems in your area.
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of their coffee. I ordered a nitro cold brew and a cappuccino. I’m really struggling with a description of the flavor notes in the nitro. It has a full body coffee flavor but to me was kind of skunky. It didn’t have a bitter or nasty aftertaste but it is just not something that tasted good to me. The glass it was served it was very pretty and it had a great head of foam on it too, so it was just my taste buds that were off. The cappuccino didn’t have a weird taste but was just okay. Not something I would order again. This was my first coffee in a mug, not a paper cup and the first one where they made a design in the foam. It was cool, made me feel like a total grown up! I think it is just me and this coffee don’t agree. I am not sure where the roast is from or what the brand/blend was. As they are very local to me and I feel comfortable in their spaces, I will have to keep trying until I find a roast that I like!
